Sometimes we forget how little we need to live a good life.
We have soo much, yet we are still chasing more…
- and we never fully appreciate what we already have!
I get it though. I really do.
Between work, family, friends and all of the other things that we need to attend to, it can be hard to find time and energy to take care of ourselves.
But I have learned that self-care doesn’t have to be an elaborate affair!
- Sometimes, just laughing with someone we care about; or enjoying a healthy meal, then going for a gentle stroll outdoors afterwards works too!
So this week, I’m going to make some time to relax at home, surrounded by candles and soft blankets as I sip multiple cups of tea.
- And maybe afterwards, if I can stay awake long enough, I’ll read a good book before bedtime!
